About the work

This piece is inspired by the beautiful colors of the Caribbean landscape. Whenever I visit the Caribbean I experience a bit of a mental shift - a calming of mind and body. My goal was to represent this shift in a simple abstract composition. I hope you enjoy!

Christine's designs are characterized by their playful yet elegant hand drawn motifs and modern, minimalist pattern composition. Christine received her MBA from the University of Michigan and worked in marketing before leaving to follow her passion for all things design. She completed her Master of Industrial Design from Pratt Institute and launched Christine Joy Design shortly after.
