• Materials. Minted’s flower art is available as art prints, canvas, and aluminum-mounted acrylic. Our superb art paper lends itself well to charcoal drawing and watercolor pieces, while canvas can lend an authentic edge to old-world inspired botanical oil paintings. Our acrylic art prints — which feature fine paper sandwiched between a layer of aluminum and a layer of acrylic — make a bold statement out of photo and modern floral art.
• Frames & Finishes. Once you’ve selected the material for your art print, you can choose between a wide variety of frame styles and finishes. Minted offers 8 classic wooden frames for canvas prints and from 13 wood, gilded, and metal frame styles for our art prints.
• Borders & Matting. In addition to choosing the frame, you can also select how you’d like to mount our art prints. Go for standard (also called full bleed) if you’re looking to fill your frame with wall-to-wall color and pattern. A white border can be a cost-effective way to add an elegant matted look to a print, or you can opt for a museum grade mat board to give your piece an extra bit of dimension and focus. For a more modern look, prints can also be float mounted within your chosen frame.
• Glass. Protect your floral art piece with either our standard plexiglass or our UV plexiglass. If you plan to hang your art in a particularly sunny spot, like across from a south-facing window, we suggest opting for our UV-plexi glass to extend the lifetime of your art.
