About the work
I am continually inspired by my home in the Sonoran Desert, where sandstone is abundant. The pinkish shade and the curves made from the wind on this soft stone were the starting point for the fluid shapes in this piece. The organic shapes are balanced by linear and organized elements that balance what is wild and was is not in this mystic place of sand and sun.

I am an artist influenced by the inherent modernism of the desert, my background in architecture and my love for the mid-century. I enjoy a clean, modern aesthetic that has a nod to the past but is distinctly for today’s interior spaces. I am an introvert, a chronic doodler and I still add to the sticker collection that I started in the early 80's. I reside in Phoenix, AZ with my husband, Garrick, and my 2 extremely creative teens.
