About the work

This piece was inspired by old art deco style art and design. I used a cellulose mixture with paint in order to achieve the textured grooves of the waves. By carving out the lines within each wave, I was able to create an abstract piece of work that pays homage to an artistic style that has been timeless throughout the years.
