About Rachel

I'm a Canadian photographer based in the Laurentians region of Quebec. In 2019 after a tragic loss I turned to photography as a way to reconnect with the beauty, peace and meaning that could still be found in the world around me - even as I made my way through grief. My favourite photographs to make are the ones that not only capture a scene but also express an emotional experience. I enjoy exploring textures, graphic lines and the perfect-imperfection of wild things.
