About Dan

I began my relationship with melting things at a very young age. I would watch old bottles melt into the campfire coals and learned how to forge crude knives from scrap metal foraged from my dad’s shop. In 2004, I moved from Montana to Seattle seeking to learn more about glass. I took classes, learned from different artists, and worked part time for several local glass blowers as I honed my craft. I am forever attempting to capture the fluid beauty of glass as I enjoy playing with fire.
