Keyhole presents a sculptural opening framed by knotted fibers, creating a form that feels both architectural and symbolic. The negative space at its center draws the viewer inward, suggesting passage, curiosity, and discovery.

Keyhole reflects my fascination with the balance between strength and openness — much like the sea-carved arches of Pfeiffer Beach that inspired it. Using traditional knotting and contemporary sculptural techniques, I allow the fibers to take form intuitively, guided by tension, gravity, and light.
