Meghan Pauley Nespeca is a mixed media textile artist, surface designer and illustrator living in the North Carolina countryside. Merging her love of color and texture, she works our of her sunshine filled home studio creating original textile and collage artworks full of folk inspired whimsy. Her process for creating is full of freedom and intuition. Natural dyeing with botanicals, painting on both cloth and paper, hand stamping, endless stitching, illustration, and original poetry are all components of her work. She draws inspiration from her home in the North Carolina hills, past travels around the world, and her journey through motherhood. Her art is simply the essence of what she holds to be good and true, beautiful and forgotten, encompassing what it is to feel deeply and fully.
