About the artist:
Both of my grandmothers were artists, instilling in me the skills of painting with oils and acrylics from a young age. I fondly recall my first, depicting a wooden swing hanging from a tree with apples scattered on the ground. The image of my grandmother guiding me in painting the leaves on that very tree remains vivid in my mind. Interestingly, I was named after both of these talented women, and to this day, I draw inspiration from their artwork and the summers I spent on Nantucket.
