Vibrant landscape of an early morning scene in The Netherlands in the forest. This painting was inspired by early morning walks with the dog in the woods behind my childhood home, surrounded by early morning whispers, streams and bird calls set against the dunes of the North Sea in the distance.

- Artwork measures 9" W by 12" H by 1.5" depth;
- With the frame, the artwork measures appr. 9 3/4" W by 12 3/4" H by 2 1/4";
- Acrylics on gallery-wrapped birch board. Varnished with a semi-glossy varnish;
- Craftsman hand-made frame from repurposed hardwood and finished with a transparent coating to bring out the natural color of the wood;

Lottie Aldarwish paints from her studio in Guelph, Ontario Canada. She loves the effect that colors and artwork have on a space and is eternally inspired by how different colors play out against each other. She's passionate about using natural materials and loves the feel of painting on thick wood. Her cabinet-maker husband repurposes maple wood used to create their custom frames.
