An original collage by Carrie Moradi made in her home studio located in Fort Collins, Colorado. In “organic stack – original” an organic mix of overlapping leaf-like, cut tissue paper shapes in a variety of subdued, earthy hues yield a playfully-abstract composition of growing botanicals. This collage is created with tissue paper adhered to heavy, white, acid-free, cold press paper with a slight texture. (140lb/300 gsm)

Creating bold, abstract tissue paper collages is Carrie's favorite medium to capture the essence of mid-century modern style while balancing youthfulness and sophistication. Organic forms in nature inspire her collages and color palettes, as well as accumulated time living in the American southwest, the midwest, and now near the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
