This painting ships from upstate New York and usually ships out within 5 days.
Farm Home was created while I was living in New York City. After taking many trips upstate, I often fantasized about the rural and simple life that I experienced there. I dreamed of living in a sweet old farm house surrounded by the green pastures and drinking my morning coffee on the porch.

My artwork often threads the line between painting and fiber art. At the core, my work is about soulful storytelling, the comforts of home and our connection to nature. I build up my work in layers of acrylic paint, collage and discarded scraps of textile, often going back and forth between paint and fabric scraps that are cut or ripped in haphazard shapes. The defining characteristics of my art include an undone, loose and layered style with unexpected color combinations and intriguing compositions.

    Halfmoon, NY

From my studio in upstate New York, I paint abstracts and landscapes layered with discarded textile. My art threads the line between painting and fiber art. At the core, my work is about soulful storytelling, the comforts of home and our connection to nature. In my art you can spot influences of folk art, handcrafts and a pull toward rural charm.
