My brother says "silly goose" to my nephew all of the time and it made me think it would be a cute first birthday theme. I drew the concept first, and then made the digital artwork. Originally, I wasn't planning on adding a cake, but then I realised the shape would be too tall and narrow to fit the tablet layout. I tried to keep to simple shapes and patterns for a child-like feel. The colors are gender-neutral & I think this design will work well in other color schemes, too.
