About the work

For this piece, I was inspired by my passion for hiking and documenting all the natural shapes I see on my journeys. I created the mountains to appear almost weightless, as if floating in an otherworldly realm, defying the laws of gravity. I tried to create a sense of fluidity that seems to carry the mountains forward and backward in time. Shapes and lines intersect and converge, forming dynamic patterns that echo the undulating contours of the mountains. The composition of the artwork features a vast horizon that stretches across the canvas, seamlessly merging with a delicate sky in a harmonious symphony of colors. I have used a range of warm and cool tones to create a captivating contrast that infuses the piece with depth and intensity. I used both watercolor hand-painted elements and fractures of landscape photography.
