About the work

This piece was inspired by drawings I used to do as a child. I loved layering mountains with the sun, and something about the process just brought peace. I created this piece with those drawings in mind, but also incorporating what I believe to be the most calming color palette I have ever seen. I originally painted this for my home, but I decided it wouldn't be fair to keep this one all to myself.
