About the work

I am drawn to organic forms and perspectives where it is difficult to determine the scale. All-encompassing views which appear as if they were their own environment, I find to be especially engrossing. This photograph, taken with a macro lens, captures the marks on a stainless steel bowl. These marks are the records of generations of cooks that used it and the countless meals they prepared.
