Frame Close-up
This photograph is from a series exploring ice and snow. It was captured with a macro lens at the end of January in Minnesota. It reveals the intricate ice crystals that form when soap solution freezes in subzero temperatures. Under these unique conditions, the crystals appear almost instantaneously, creating an ephemeral image evocative of an etching.
