I grew up in Huntington Beach and love everything about it. One of my favorite times at the beach is in the early morning...watching the surfers, listening to the hypnotic sounds of the waves breaking and just being at peace. On a recent visit back to my home town, I ventured out before the crowds and captured the solitude of a lone lifeguard tower. I find this photo quite calming and hope the viewer will as well.
