About the work

While driving through the winding roads of Point Reyes, California, this scene caught my eye. The shadows of twilight on the rolling, golden hills combined with the wide open sky made my imagination wander - I imagined this small stand of trees moving towards this sweet home, arriving just in time for dinner. This image is textured to add a nostalgic, timeless, storybook feel as well as to invite the viewer to join in getting lost in imagination.
