Geneva Reimagined is an original pastel drawing, created organically by outlining intersecting lines and filling them with color. As an abstract expressionist piece, this drawing began without a plan, just a desire to feel a sense of peace while playing with color. As it evolved, I focused on enhancing the tonal gradients to imbue the drawing with a sense of light. And just like that, an abstract landscape was born—part spontaneity, part memory, part longing. I hope this piece conveys the peace I felt while creating it.
