We have had so much snow this year! I love to see the colors of the frozen earth start to peek through as the snow starts to melt at the end of winter. With this piece I tried to capture the movement of the snow melting and running into puddles.

Growing up on the Alberta prairies, living many years in coastal northern California, and now calling the Utah mountains home, I have a deep love of nature and the stunning vistas that inspire my work. With a BFA in Illustration, I’ve spent the past twenty five years raising four fantastic daughters and trying to find as much time as possible to paint. I work primarily in oils, and am constantly snapping photos to inspire future projects.
