About the work
Part of the “Warm Collection” Warm Grey I & II were painted together as one canvas but each painting hangs well alone. These paintings pair well with any of my warm white or warm gold collections. They started to look too stormy for me so I added some gold metallic that magically danced across the canvases and made me smile!

As an artist, painting can be tormenting and sublime at the same time. I'm a big risk taker, experimenting with different materials to layer, stain, scrap and saturate color on large canvases. My most successful work is complex yet minimal. Some of my work achieves a sense of fluid movement with saturated color, while my newer collection is so textured it is like frosting. The end result should be a painting that will spiritually and emotionally capture, calm, and elevate us.
