About the work
When visiting Palm Springs over spring break I was less interested in lounging by the pool...instead finding myself wanting to soak in the 1960's modernism that is abundant in this small desert town. This sunny print is my favorite from this trip and a celebration of midcentury architecture and design.

See?..was my first word as a baby. As a testament to the frequency in which it was spoken, it adorned the top of my 1st birthday cake. Today, I am inspired by color and I "see" overlooked beauty through both my camera and painting, creating art that evokes calm and happiness. Finding beauty has little to do with the things you see, and everything to do with the way you see them. It is my hope that my work inspires you to see the extraordinary in our ordinary days.
