About the work

I am inspired by all forms of art techniques that are used in different cultures. This art print was created and inspired by the ancient art form of Sumi. I wanted to create a piece with simplicity as its main focus. The ridged strokes of each petal show the traces of the ink and how it flows through out the entire piece.
