About the work

In this piece I've explored notions of temporal change, shifting perspective, and natural beauty through the abstract rendering of places where land, sea, and sky intersect. Here, variegated brushstrokes in celestial tones combine with layered marks and subtle pops of color, for a composition that is both soft and vibrant, reflective of the interaction of shifting light and natural form over time, through tidal changes, and from sunrise, through midday, until sunset.
