About the work

This pair of whimsical, abstract and playful landscapes was created using acrylic paints, I am inspired by the beauty of the landscape where i live in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. Peach, cherry and apple orchards are abundant. Imagine birds chirping and children laughing as they run through dew laden grass and play tag in the orchards. I painted the memory of my children playing in the early mornings just like this, I hope these pastel colours evoke the sense of freedom and play for you too.
