About the work

This piece was made in response to the events of January 6, 2021. Ever inspired by place, my work and this piece in particular, seeks to remind us who we are, where we come from, and where we are going through color and form. . . And the to be buoyed by the imperfections and inspired to continue to learn and move forward.
