With this painting I wanted to create an abstract composition that had the vivid color and energy of a floral bouquet, but without any actual flowers. I used to love going to the Flower Market in San Francisco with its incredible fragrance and color, and I hoped to bring a bit of that vibrance into this painting. This piece is best paired with Flower Market II.
