About the work

This print is part of a set of four photographs highlighting water presentation altered by differing environments. Although all are ocean photographs taken along the coast of California and Hawaii, each appear different as the result of environmental influences such as light, reflection, clarity, and current. Despite differences, all are stunningly beautiful abstract representations of the sea. This observation draws a parallel with humanity; as despite our varied life experiences, achievements, challenges, and environments… we remain innately alike. This set celebrates this premise of collective oneness and individuality enhancing one another. Each photograph reflects raw edging and is digitally matted to provide a clean modern presentation singularly, as a pair, or set of three or four. Considering pairing with Ocean Blue II, III and IV.
