About the work
Johnston Canyon in Banff National Park was the inspiration behind this painting. It is part of my winter series, 'Stillness in Motion' which reflects a time of introspection and inner work in a seemingly quiet season. This abstract landscape captures the sense of calmness I felt hiking along the snow covered path.
