About the work
I was walking through the old Tel Aviv Port, listening to the waves crash against the wooden promenade. Wanting to capture the moment up close, I stepped as close as I could to the railing, camera in hand. As the waves hit, they exploded into a spray of water, and I snapped a photo just as the droplets filled the air—a perfect shot of the ocean’s energy.

I work in the intersection between Creative and Documentary photography. To paraphrase the description of the great American photographer Sam Abell, my style of photography is documentary in the sense that I record the world as it is, however, it has transcendent qualities that start at the documentary level, yet open to interpretation on an aesthetic level as well. I am inspired by the natural world and especially by the seas and oceans.
