About the work

This piece is a graphite figure drawing, originally on handmade paper. Inspired by classical busts, this drawing instead shows the back of a woman's neck, shoulders, and hair. Makes a great diptych paired with Figure Drawing no.17. An elegant and feminine addition to any space or gallery wall.
