About the work

This piece was created as a part of a collection of landscapes: deserts, mountains, the Heavens, and the Earth. Inspired by the idea that a place can be a refuge— somewhere I have been or want to be. The Glass Lake is where mountains meet sky and water and invite you in to rest in the peace of these natural wonders.

    I work out of my studio in Denver—where I paint, design, illustrate, and dream of adventures! Previously, I worked for 10 years at a variety of design firms, ad agencies, and an international publishing house. Now I have a husband and three bambinos, so I have to get creative with time as much as art! I have a Bachelor of Science in Design from the University of Cincinnati, and have participated in a number of juried art shows.
