About the work

Watercolor painting of the city of Venice, seen from above. It is almost impossible to not be fascinated by this island city or city of islands. The Italian city will surprises everytime with it’s magic, romance, uniqueness and charm. My croquis is a view of Piazza San Marco. It is the largest square in Venice and really is the heart of the city, hosting a variety of attractions, like St. Mark’s Basilica, Doge’s Palace, Campanile and the Bridge of Sighs.
