This piece is part of a series of mixed media works on raw canvas. I layered up from thin color stains to impasto marks to create a balance of contrasts. The focus of the series is on accentuating the 3-dimensionality of the collection as a whole.

Keren Toledano is a New York based abstract artist . She worked as a literary agent, story editor, freelance writer and film archivist, before committing herself to the creative life. She now splits her time between painting and writing. In addition to collaborations with home decor brands and art publishers, her work has been featured at international fairs and in publications such as Maker’s Magazine.
