About the work
Atlantis is another painting from my drip collection. I love to drip paint because you never know where it will end up! I am always taking chances! I first did some underpainting for color and texture. Then I drip and watch as gravity does its work forcing the paint to find its way down over ridges of texture. I also love this palette of teal, blues, white and silver which feel so coastal and can live in any home!

As an artist, painting can be tormenting and sublime at the same time. I'm a big risk taker, experimenting with different materials to layer, stain, scrap and saturate color on large canvases. My most successful work is complex yet minimal. Some of my work achieves a sense of fluid movement with saturated color, while my newer collection is so textured it is like frosting. The end result should be a painting that will spiritually and emotionally capture, calm, and elevate us.
