This painting is from a series of drip works. The palette is black, grey, white and gold. I first paint a thick coat of areas for texture with color for the underpainting. Then I drip the paint over the surface. To achieve the right composition it takes many sessions and gravity helps! These paintings are always a big gamble as chance plays a big roll when you drip paint. The name, well that is another story!!
