About the work

While camping in California, I visited the Oceano Sand Dunes near San Luis Obispo. Just as the sun began to set, I captured this image of the many layers of this coastal sand dune. I have visited many sand dunes in California and this is one of my favorite. This piece is not intended to be displayed with another piece.
