I've always been interested in the power of color to affect mood and atmosphere. Happy warm pigments and moody deep hues can express so very much. In this piece I express the joy I see in color by using watercolor on paper which facilitates the interplay of pigments as they meet and marry revealing exciting blooms and delicate gradations.
