This piece was taken at the edge of a cliff, where land meets sea at the Byron Bay Lighthouse. I wanted to capture the contrast between the stillness of the rugged coastline and the constant, rhythmic crashing of the waves against the rocks. There’s a quiet tension here — strength and softness, permanence and change — in the moment it felt deeply calming to experience. I wanted to preserve that moment of pause, where you can stand at the edge and simply watch, letting everything else fall away.
