About the work

This is a photograph I took in the French Quarter of New Orleans. I was first drawn to the pale pink wall with all of its textures. Then I saw all the interesting things in the window display. Looking further through the window I could see a chandelier hanging inside. All of these elements drew me to create a photograph. I also think it illustrates the funkiness of the French Quarter.
