About the work
The California coast is perhaps my favorite muse. This photograph was taken from the San Clemente beach pier looking up the coast. A dreamy view of waves coming in along the bluffs topped with palm trees and beach houses. This little surf town is quintessential California, and my favorite place to spend seaside.

See?..was my first word as a baby. As a testament to the frequency in which it was spoken, it adorned the top of my 1st birthday cake. Today, I am inspired by color and I "see" overlooked beauty through both my camera and painting, creating art that evokes calm and happiness. Finding beauty has little to do with the things you see, and everything to do with the way you see them. It is my hope that my work inspires you to see the extraordinary in our ordinary days.
