About the work

This piece is a graphite figure drawing, originally on handmade paper. Inspired by classical busts, this drawing instead shows the back of a woman's neck, shoulders, and hair. Makes a great diptych or gallery wall paired with Figure Drawing no.16, no.17, or no.18. An elegant and feminine addition to any space.
