About the work

I had just completed a few pieces similar in nature but with only warm tones and structured straight lines. I was inspired to play a little more with color and loosen up the straight lines. This was originally one piece, and I split it up into a set that I think could be placed in a few different orientations depending on the environment. Bringing together warm and cool tones with various shades and slight movement of the borders, these pieces create flexibility in presentation for any environment.
