Part of a series of illustrations that explore the humble, but beautiful patterns found in nature, "Sardines" is inspired by the way that large schools of fish will move in coordinated rhythms together. A simple pen and ink drawing, the piece and the collection explore the many 'scales' of swirling fish.

Bryn Wears-Fitipaldi creates all her original pieces in her studio in Sausalito, California. She creates bold geometric paintings, collages and textile wall art that reflect her architectural training. She considers herself an abstract artist, focusing more on featuring elements of form, color, line, tone, and texture rather than literal forms. less
