About the work

This image captures my love of light and color in arid landscapes. It is part of my desert series, in which I wanted to capture the glowing pastel tones of gold, aqua and coral that are created in the morning and afternoon sun in the desert. This light and dreamy image is meant to take you away to the hot, wide openness of the desert and create a calming space where you can breath, dream and reflect.
