About the work
Mid Century Jungle 1 is an abstract interpretation of a geometric rainforest. I was inspired by my mother and the Island where I was born. It is home to one of the most beautiful rainforests called "El Yunque". Ever since I can remember, I've been obsessed with symmetry and nature. I believe that my love for bold shapes was passed down by my mother, who was also an artist. Mid Century Jungle 1 pairs with Mid Century Jungle 2.
