About the work

This print was inspired by the fragile papery wings of a butterfly. I created this print using painted tissue papers carefully layering them to build this painted lady butterfly print in a pallet of warm peachy browns and pink. Full of texture much like the wings of a butterfly, this art print is a stand alone piece, however I envisioned it being perfect for a gallery wall mixed with other art in a statement frame.
