Your bridesmaids are an essential part of your wedding day—and every step of the wedding-planning process. They’ll watch you try on dress after dress, pitch in for the bridal shower, organize a bachelorette getaway, and DIY decorations, not to mention be by your side on the big day. How do you recognize all their support? With the bridesmaid gift they’ll love, of course!
To help get you inspired, we created this list of unique bridesmaid gift ideas your bridal attendants will love. While some can be given at any time, others are curated specifically for each bridal event: the bridesmaid proposal, bachelorette party, and wedding day. And you don’t have to give everyone the same thing (which is one reason we’ve come up with so many options).

BRIDESMAID GIFT FAQS
WHEN SHOULD I GIVE MY BRIDESMAIDS THEIR GIFTS?
There are really no set-in-stone rules when it comes to bridesmaid gifts. But some key gift-giving opportunities are during the "bridesmaid proposal", (when you ask them to be a bridesmaid), at the bachelorette, and right before the wedding day (often during the rehearsal dinner). Sometimes, brides give different gifts for all three events.
IS IT CUSTOMARY TO GIVE BRIDESMAIDS GIFTS?
Giving bridesmaids gifts is a long-standing tradition. But some brides go practical and decide to pay for the bridesmaid dresses, hair, or makeup. Or you might want to cover the cost of the vacation rental or an activity for the bachelorette party. As long as you’re showing your appreciation for your closest friends and family, it won’t matter when or how it happens.
HOW MUCH SHOULD I SPEND ON BRIDESMAID GIFTS?
It depends. If you’re having a small backyard wedding, a smaller token of your appreciation is totally fine. If you’re having a destination wedding that requires your bridesmaids to use their PTO and pay for a plane ticket and hotel room, you might want to consider giving them a more generous gift.
