About the work

India ink and sumi brush on multimedia paper. Spontaneous, loose brushstrokes in almost continuous lines that bend at right angles at repeat themselves. Whimsical. The looseness of the brushstrokes contrasts well with the almost geometric square angles and with the pattern like repeat of the main motive. There is a suggestion that something (what is it?) goes through a certain path (which one?), in and out, out and it.
